General

What is InovaPouch?

InovaPouch specialises in pouch filling systems in Brazil. Everything we offer revolves around this format, and the founders bring over 25 years of experience in it. We represent Leepack, the Korean pouch filling equipment manufacturer, in a partnership of more than 14 years. We follow the project from the application assessment through to the machine in production, covering pre-filling to end of line.

Does InovaPouch build the machines?

Manufacturing is done by Leepack, our lead partner for more than 14 years. InovaPouch handles the application engineering: we study the product, the intended format and the target output, and recommend the right line configuration. Working closely with the factory for that long shortens the path between your requirement and the correct specification.

Where does the equipment come from?

From South Korea. Leepack is our lead partner for filling equipment and builds rotary systems for pre-made pouches. The catalogue covers six families, from simplex to quadruplex, with outputs from 20 to 160 pouches per minute depending on the series and the application.

Do I have to handle the import myself?

The import is made in your company's name, and InovaPouch runs the process alongside you from start to finish. If the company does not import yet, we guide the RADAR registration, the licence that authorises a Brazilian company to trade internationally. From there we follow every stage: documentation, shipping, customs clearance and arrival of the machine. Companies that have never imported go through this route regularly, and it is predictable.

How does the process work, from first contact to a running machine?

It starts with a technical conversation about your product, the intended format and the target output. With that, we recommend the line configuration and present the commercial proposal. Once the purchase is closed, we run the import and follow manufacturing and shipping. On arrival, installation, commissioning and team training take place in Brazil.

How long has InovaPouch worked with Leepack equipment in Brazil?

For over 14 years, with Leepack equipment installed and running across different segments. We can point to applications similar to yours and, when the customer agrees, introduce the reference directly.

How does technical service and spare parts work?

Service is InovaPouch's own, in Brazil. Installation, commissioning and operator training are ours, and after-sales stays with us — no ticket to the other side of the world. Spare parts are genuine Leepack and we place the order with the factory for you. When the machine is purchased we advise which wear items are worth keeping on your plant floor, so a routine part never becomes a line stoppage. For parameter tuning and diagnostics, support starts remote and goes on site when the case calls for it.

What is the difference between a pre-made pouch and VFFS (roll-stock)?

In VFFS, the machine forms the pouch from a film reel on the line itself — great for a single low-cost format at high speed. With pre-made (rotary), the pouch arrives ready from the factory and the machine only opens, fills and seals it: it allows spout, zipper, capping, premium finish and format change in minutes. Are doypack and stand-up pouch the same thing?

Yes. Doypack is the name the stand-up pouch became known by, inherited from a 1960s French trademark that turned generic. Anyone looking for a doypack machine is looking for a stand-up pouch machine: the same format, filled by the same rotary systems. We use the technical term, stand-up pouch, throughout the site to avoid confusion with the other formats.

Is a pre-made pouch more expensive than roll-stock?

The unit cost of pre-made packaging is usually higher than reeled film. In return, it removes the investment in forming the pouch on the line, offers premium finish, special formats and fast format change — which usually pays off on premium and multi-SKU lines.

Machines

How many pouches per minute does a Leepack rotary machine run?

It depends on the series and pouch size: from 20–40 BPM (RG and RV) to 140–160 BPM (RQ, Quadplex). The best-selling RT runs 40–60 BPM and the Duplex RD 80–100 BPM. There is a per-model specification table on the machines page.

How long does a format change take?

On Leepack rotary machines, format change is automatic via HMI, within 5 minutes. That is what makes multi-SKU lines viable without losing productivity.

Which pouch formats do Leepack machines handle?

Stand-up, spout, sachet, stickpack, box pouch and side-gusset (quad-seal) pouch. There is a series dedicated to vacuum (RV) and to center-spout with cap (RS).

Application

Can the same machine fill liquid and powder?

Yes. The rotary machine is product-agnostic: you swap the filler/weigher set according to liquid, paste, granule, powder or solid. The RT, RD, RQ, RG and RV series accept all of these types.

Which machine for a spout pouch with cap?

The RS series (Rotary Filling & Capping) integrates filling and capping for center-spout pouches. For corner-spout, the RT or RD with a spout magazine. Engineering sizes the configuration to your spout and cap.

How do you fill oxygen-sensitive products?

With vacuum filling (RV series, one vacuum chamber per station) or modified atmosphere (N₂ gas flushing). Both extend the shelf life of oxygen-sensitive products.

Support and coverage

Is there technical support in Brazil?

Yes. InovaPouch is the official Leepack Korea representative and provides commissioning, spare parts, training and after-sales directly in Brazil — without depending on support from the other side of the world.

Do you serve outside Brazil?

Yes. Beyond Brazil, we serve several Latin American countries — such as Argentina, Chile, Peru, Colombia, Mexico and Uruguay, among others.
